| Though, it could be debatable, a poem can be classifed as a story. If not producing an epic of adventure, but a shadow of the story of your mind.
In other words; The thread is just vague enough to work here. =>
Almost all poetry is welcome, so please add your own masterpieces, if you wish.
This could really aid to game ideas, and even plot lines of existing ones.
It is only polite for the OP to make an example, so I may.
Warning - This poem is rather sombre, I apologise if I upset anyone;

I stand.
I stand here...alone.
I stand here...in darkness.
I stand in rust...in fear, in my own shame.
I wait for a light, a friend true, to whittle the rust...to break my fear...
I wait...have they came?
I am unsure...so...

Echo 'round my head as I sing this song

Stars.
Dusk and day seem stray &,
the blanket of night seems, my only light.
The stars...my friends...
The stars...from ram to fish, scroll across my eyeline...
Perhaps they'll give me a wish?
I wish my friends, you'd come down,
come down from heaven, come down to Earth.
...or, atleast please, I wish for another's company,
a one that may know my worth...
Solitude with stars...can make you stare...stare into the black abyss...
